No matter what stage you’re at in your wedding planning - I want to remind you of these three things!

1. Remember the “why” to your planning. You’re marrying your best friend!!!!!

2. Honor others, don’t please them. This day is about you and your love. Plan it how you want to & make the choices that excite you!! It’s important to honor your family & the one’s who have been supporting you and your person your whole lives. Enjoy the planning alongside them! But humbly remember you are celebrating your love story!

3. Enjoy this season to the fullest. All the decisions that may be causing stress, choose to view them as joyful ones. Do as much as you can together in this season & really soak it all up.

A little recap of today’s insta stories. This morning while I was editing, I realized I was wildly behind on responding to my texts & I needed to play catch-up (this is not an uncommon monday activity for me, lol).

I’m going through my messages and reach my sweet friend, Autie. I open the message to three voice memos (one being 18 MINUTES LONG hahaha). She went on for almost 20 minutes about her 2 days @passion268

Passion is a conference for collage age adults to create fellowship and to grow in their knowledge and faith for Jesus.

These past few days, I’ve felt a major nudge in my heart in how I need to be prioritizing my time and my energy. Hearing the passion and fire Autie has for Jesus through her voice-memo was only confirmation of that.

Following Jesus is completely without a doubt the most joyous thing I get to do in my life. There is no relationship that I have on earth that is greater than the one I get to have with Him, although I don’t always treat it as such.

How we spend our time, what we consume our thoughts with and how we view the world changes us. Small things that seem like everyday activities (watching TV, grabbing dinner with friends, etc.) are all GOOD THINGS! But when it’s the only thing, or the majority of how we are spending our time - our minds are focused on the wrong things and our actions will reveal that.

God LOVES US. He wants us to be around friends and sit down after work to watch some TV. But because He loves us, He desires a relationship with us more than anything. You cannot have a relationship with someone if you never talk to them, or if you never spend time with them.
